General Manager, Manpower Services (Asia)


OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

 

To develop new Manpower/Crewing/Manning business in Asian Region, co-ordinate and liaise with Group’s MSOs to develop and deliver existing and new businesses.  This will include any Offshore and/or Oil Industrial personnel.

 

To develop and assist with the set up of new manpower sources to meet the Group and market demand for supply of qualified seagoing and shore staff. 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To market and develop manpower services business in Asia region.

 

Fulfil contractual obligations as Principal to existing and new manning operations within region.

 

Set up service agreements with new clients.

 

Coordinate client account management within region.

 

To ensure all agreed fees/expenses and any other revenues are collected on set time frame as agreed with clients.

 

Propose and liaise with clients for annual revision of service fees and revenues for our provided services.

 

To ensure all client services are delivered at their satisfaction and upon receipt of any customer complaints, ensure prompt investigation and improvement is implemented.

 

Identify and monitor training requirements for all marine or non-marine personnel supplied to clients and to ensure such training are properly implemented and recorded.  

 

To ensure all supplied personnel are properly covered by insurance.

 

To monitor and ensure all industrial relationship are smoothly covered by entering into proper agreement with concerned Unions and ensure fees/dues are paid accurately/timely.

 

Submit of quotation to any potential clients for any possible/potential new business.

 

To set up manning agreements with manning entities in the region.

 

Any other duties which may required to carry out by Regional Manpower Director or Manpower Operation Director.

 

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB (Essential skills, qualifications and experience)

 Proven and extensive experience within marine personnel management

 Ability to communicate in English language

 Some experience in marketing and business development preferred
